Company update: Why a pause is necessary and doesn’t mean certain doom.

In the fall of 2017 we abruptly uprooted and relocated out of Springfield in favor of a richer, more diverse market in the Windy City. In hindsight, we should have taken more care to plan things out, and maybe do some networking ahead of time. But, instead, the truck was loaded, a lease was signed, and we started calling Chicago home.

The order of operations is different, but that’s what we’re doing now. Attending wedding shows, talking to Marketing agencies, etc trying to get our name out there in this new market. It’s definitely a challenge, but a welcomed one. Chicago gave us great works like “Trains, Planes, & Automobiles,” “Ferris Bueller‘s Day Off,” and more recently “The Dark Knight,” as well as the great NBC and Fox Chicago dramas. So this move puts us right in the epicenter of production in the Midwest.

So, if you’re wondering why you haven’t heard from us in a while, that is why. We’re definitely not interested calling it quits, but we’re definitely in the process of a restructuring. Getting acclimated to new surroundings, meeting people in the industry, and overall generally starting over. Stay tuned, more to come.
